1991 RS Camaro. Transplanted 350 with T5.

We are situated right in the middle of the UK.

Andy.
PS Any photos of your car?

PPS We went to your country on holiday a few years ago (Bugibba). The roads were horrible! Hope they are a bit better where you are! Where are you in Malta by the way?
Very nice Blue Lagoon though!

Located in Bedford, 45 miles north of London, follow M1 to junc 13 then A421 to bedford, or M1 junc 9 to Luton then A6 to bedford, i'm in the Brickhill area by Clapham / Oakley.

The car is an 86 305 Sport Coupe. Its reletively standard, with just an Edlebrock air filter, Mr Gasket breathers, and Flowmaster exhaust, also a few apperance mods.

Its a daily driver, and has coverd nearly 30 000 miles in the two years i have owned it, i bought it with 90 000 miles on it. (did 2000 miles in 3 weeks last month)

Hi iroc-si. Nice car.
Tell me more about your car. Has the engine been changed or the trans? No T5's were put behind 350's from the factory.

Andy.

The engine is a 350 out of a 1979 camaro, which now has a holley 4160 600cfm carb, and msd coil. The car was originally a L69 305ci with the manual 5 speed gearbox (now repaired), the original engine I have, and will be fixing for a spare. The car has 95,000 on it, and the engine's done something like 20,000 since rebuild.

I'm not entirely sure where the rear axle came from as its a posi diff, with disc brakes. The car is a genuine iroc-z (and has all the suspension tweaks to prove it ).

The original colour was a silver/grey but it has had a fairly poor quality change to yellow, and has since then had the front wings replaced.

The other main thing thats changed is the exhaust has been replaced with a custom job, with a very small silencer, and no cat. Which all in all lets more of the perfect V8 sound out into the world.....

All in all it's about the spec and configuration that I was after, and it turned up for sale just a few miles away from me, for a very nice price.

Iroc-si - Good to hear of another Thirdgen so close! Myself and RMK are both in Glasgow. Boydmutch isn't too far away either. Your car looks like one I saw at Crail a while back. Was it yourself or the previous owner? What did she run? Sweet looking ride by the way!

Manovox, I think you have to shrink your pictures to be under 100k or summut.

Dr G, I've only just got the car so it wasn't me that was at crail. It does run rather well, though it certainly takes a while to get the hang of starting the thing. I have had it up to Knockhill for the last round of the SMRC racing season (just spectating though), and it was fun when everyone stopped to stare at it, even a new vette owner!

That must have put a face-wide grin on you. Nice looking ride.

What's the starting problem?
