Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good and knowledgeable Company in the UK to repair an American auto transmission. The car was involved in an acccident and the bell housing around the transmission is cracked in a few places. I tought I might be able to replace it but looks like it is all part of the transmission housing and is all one piece. I won't know the full extent of the damage until I pull it out of the car. The transmission is a TH200C 3 speed. Think that was only used on the 82 Firebirds and Camaros.

Thanks for that. I have to remove my transmission next week. My car was hit by a drunk driver in January and made s**t of my transmission. The bell housing is cracked in a few places.

I actually rang Alders yesterday and the guy I was taking about knew my transmission, the TH200C which is a crap transmission and most of these have been dumped in favour of the 700R4. I want to keep the car original so I will stick with the TH200C. He has a transmission housing for 100 quit and to rebuilt the transmission is 795. all plus vat of course. Think I am going to go with them. Have you had any experience with them.
