Another Spanish over here
Hi, my name is Juan Lopez and I'm from Spain
Since February of this year I own a Camaro Iroc Z 1990 350ci, I bought it broken and unpainted, little by little I have been finishing it and thanks to your post I have solved many problems that have arisen during the process, I hope to continue learning more of this great car.
I have to say that I am a great lover of the car culture of your country, I love all American vehicles, especially old cars.
I put some pictures of how the Camaro was when I bought it and how it looks.
Greetings

I often wondered how do cars like that usually end up over there? Is it a person in the military has it shipped over, or what. And what kind of emission laws do countries around there have on old vehicles like that? Welcome to the forum by the way!

Re: Another Spanish over here
In Europe there are many American car lovers, usually there are companies that are dedicated to buying them there, then they approve them and sell them here, others are as you say, they were from US military deployed in the American bases of Spain that when they did not use them They sold them.
Here the emission laws are very very strict, especially with old cars like these, it is very difficult to enroll them here, for a few years only the most modern ones can be homologated (because they comply with the European emission regulations) and those that have more than 30 years (because there is a specific law for them and they register as historic cars and are exempt from the emissions test)
