Greetings from a US car guy over here in Europe, in The Netherlands. Since 1996 I have owned Corvettes and because I'm born in 1970 I am an 80's guy (grew up in that period), I just love everything 80's: cars, pinball machines, computer games and the music of this era. I have always preferred the C4 generation of the Corvette: it was designed in the 80's and it's the best Vette IMHO. I have owned an '86 coupe and a '93 ZR-1 (for 16 years) and at this moment I'm the proud owner of a 1986 Pace Car I own for 6 years now. But next to the Vette I always loved the looks of the Camaro.
Because of that 80's fixation I really love the 3rd gen Camaro. It's a fierce looking model with lots of space and I'm trying to find a nice '86 to accompany his brother. The plan was to find a nice convertible, but I learned that this will be a hard thing to do since I want my Camaro to be 1987 or older.
Hope to learn a lot from you guys and meet some nice 3rd gen Camaro lovers here as well!
While I like pretty much all Corvettes up to the C-6, My favorite is the '93-'96 C-4. The only reason I don't own one is because I have no place to park it and I don't want to get rid of any of the cars I currently have.

My favorite generation is also the C4. I once owned a '93 ZR-1 for 16 years but sold that because of it's high maintenance costs. Engine & transmission parts are crazy expensive.
