Does anyone know who sells the int pipe, over axle pipe, inlet, and RH & LH tailpipes? Who is the cheapest? I called Jegs and they don't have them. Also, is there an OE cat that will fit the int pipe? If not, what's a good cat that will? Thanks.

I got the 3" "I" pipe from Summit. www.summitracing.com . They have all the other pieces too. The intermediate pipe should bolt to your stock cat fine. Another cheap catback is from www.jcwhitney.com I dunno much about it beside that its $137. maybe you can find out for us.

That's the Dynomax 2.5" system, I believe. This guy named BadSS said in a previous post he got all the 3" parts needed for a total of about $105. I'd like to know where he found them at those prices. Do you guys know if any of our cars had a 3" exhaust stock? That would be great.

I dunno where he found ALL the pieces for that. If he can't tell you then he's BSing you. My 3" pipe with those 2 part numbers was $114.79 total with shipping and the summit 10% off. it's probably around $120 now. I think the largest pipe on an f-body was 2.75" but I dunno if that wasn't untill 4thgen came our or not.

That $105 quote was back in November when I was looking at my old wholesale price listing,, pure guess at that time what you could get it for. Plus,, that was just for the int. pipe and over the axle pipe (part numbers Taz has listed),, no muffler,, no tail pipes. They have gone up and my cost on those two parts now is almost $96,, so I'd think $125 should be a pretty good deal for them. No BS.

Thanks for all the help. I just called Summit and they want $170 for int pipe, over axle pipe, and the 2 tailpipes. If I bought a flowmaster muffler for $75, it would be more than a whole flow or hooker system. Or I could get a 2.5" dynomax system for $130 w/the rebate. Is 2.5" enough to support about 350 horses? What do you guys think?

it depends which flowmaster system you're comparing it to. I don't think it would be more than the 3" dual 2.5" out model. Its probably more than the 3"in 3"out model. The reason I didn't get a catback was because with my z28 tailpipes, it would throw the value of the catback out the window because of the labor cost. In your case a cat back would be a good idea so just get a complete system like from flowmaster or Hooker. I really don't like the large dent Dynomax puts in their 3" pipe anyway.
