I did the reading and read all the negatives about the headers as well as some positives.
My question is if you have no headers on your car(91 Formula), would you turn down buying a new ceramic shorty set for $75.00 total including y pipe?

Yes. You will spend more than the initial $75 to make them work. Even at that they will not seal and the coating will be thin and tarnish in no time. Stay away from flowtechs. There is a reason why they sell for so cheap.Originally posted by Biz

i had non-coated flowtechs on my car for 4 years, and they were fine, but they did leak, but now they have Persey's soft metal header gaskets that will seal even the most worped header flanges, i would say if you dont have money to spend on other brands go for it just use perseys header gaskets and keep the bolts tight, IMO
