That is a great definition of a BROAD question.....

It all will depend on mufflers and pipe size. I used to have a Y. Now I have true duals. The motor and everything else has changed too though.

What kind of power are we talking about here??????

If you are under 400HP then true duals is just silly. I got 500HP and it is still BIG TIME OVERKILL.... Over the winter I am making a nice Y-pipe and sorta normal style exhaust. There is no place to put duals, if you have not FULLY read all the forums about it, then do so and you will never wanna think of duals agian.

To answer your question: Duals sound bad *** in my opinion.

In my opinion duals sound better than single exhaust, just put them on my car a couple of months ago, I would never go back to single exhaust, EVER!! But it all depends on what your intentions are, big HP or little HP, street or strip. What's good for one is bad for another........

The only problem i'm having with running duals is how close the drivers side pipe would come to the fuel lines; Any solutions or is it something i shouldn't worry about?

Do what I do... whenever anything gets close to pipes.

Wrap the stuff in heat wrap. Or move the lines. If you do one of the two, or both, you will not have to worry about weather or not you should be worrying

I think you get what I mean.

I have also seen 750+ through a single 4" and it was proven that duals made no "extra" power. Just harder and more expensive to make. In my case it was much easier to make duals, cuz I made them myslef.

Here is mine.

And the page on my site: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/782913/21

If you copy something like that, you should be ok. Good luck and don't forget you can allways get a nice 3" catback kinda thing and make jsut as much power as you want, as long as you go with a NICE catback, Y and so on. Later.
