I've been having some problems w/ my car lately. Took car to mechanic the other day and he shot down all of my conclusions about my car (thats another story) ANYWAY, one thing he did tell me was the my cat was pretty bad and was starting to get clogged and whatnot. It was also causing an annoying rattle that is quite loud. So here I am, coming to you guys for help. I dont want to spend 300 bucks on a random tech cat so i'm prolly just gonna go w/ a catco. Question is, i've done a search and havent really come up w/ the answers i want. What type of cat would i need to order ( i mean in terms of outlets and size or whatever). Exhaust has never been my specialty so thats why i'm buggin you guys. I wanna order one this weekend so i can put it on during the week. So any quick help would be greatly appreciated. My car is in my sig, thanx again.
your stock exhaust is 2 1/4" catco may make a direct fit cat for our cars i am not sure the universals can be made to fit just fine

easy
take it off
put straight pipe in
well easy if you do not have to worry about smog
but I think yo usaid something about you do have smog but only need to pass the visual so just put a straight pipe thorugh the stock cat
sounds better and you get better performance gains
