Hello, I am looking for an 82 S/E in good shape. Ideally in charcoal. I am in Dallas, TX.

That is very specific criteria. I'm guessing there is an interesting story behind it.... ?

Not a terribly interesting story. My first car was an 82 SE with a V6, no wing but it did have power windows, cruise, tilt and the PMD seats. No power locks or mirrors though. I started school early so my dad bought it for me when I was 14 because all my friends were driving. I would go and sit in it and imagine driving it. Bad interior, wire holding on the bowling ball hubcap, interior was trashed but man I loved that car! I was just ONE day late on the last S/E I found. It was charcoal, had a V8 and it was $1000. The guy that bought it just got it for the V8!!! He pulled it for a different car and scrapped the S/E! 😭 Anyway, I'd be happy just to find any S/E! Even a different color or an 83 or 84. Seems like all the S/Es were scrapped.

i use to have an '82 SE matchbox car. Grey with a black spoiler (that fell off over the years).

If one (a real car) came up in decent condition...

Finding a '82 S/E in charcoal grey will be hard in itself around USA, Let alone specifically in Dallas !!!

If you are still looking, my uncle has a 1984 s/e he is getting rid of. Really nice shape. Interior excellent. 305 auto. Black with t tops and black cloth interior. PM if interested. Just north of chicago
