I noticed on my driverside door there are two stickers that have been painted over. What are they, and how can I get the paint off without damaging the sticker. The car is a '85 TA.
Thanks,
Matt

Those stickers have info on the car's weight, tire size, pressure, etc. Also passenger and cargo capacities.
As far as removing the paint from them w/o damage...try maybe a little paint thinner on a rag and rub it in in the middle of the sticker. Try not to get too close to the edge as they were laminated and the thinner could work it's way under the lamination and ruin the ink on the sticker. That might work, depending on how many coats of paint are on them.
Hope this helps.

Thanks man, I'll try it.
Slowly but surely my TA is gonna be restored.

Try Classicindustries.com, i know they have stickers for older cars anyway, cant say for sure that they got thirdgen stickers but you can always have a look.
