All I can tell you from the VIN is:
1 - USA
G- GM
2 - PONTIAC
A- Manual Belts
W-Trans Am
87 - 2 Door coupe
G- HO L69
4 - Check Didget
E- 1984
L - Van Nuys, CA plant
2 - Pontiac
25147 - Sequence

As a note to all you know-it-alls, the last 6 didgets do NOT indicate the sequence, only the last 5 numbers do. For all Firebirds they start with 200,001, the 2 is for Pontiac on that line. If they exceed 100,000 units the FIRST number can change to some other number. To prove my point, no one here should have a pontiac with a number 1xx,xxx, thats a Chevrolet number. Olds start with 3, Buick 4 and Cadillac should be 6.

Seats of course.

Outside door handle insert

Does it have a side pillar badge or a decal?
