Well ive got the original wheels, which are N89 wheels 14", and they are supposed to have the Knight rider hub caps.
Well the hub caps i dont have, someone has bonded black centre caps to the rears, the fronts have gone walkies.
I can't find any anywhere, any ideas on repro or new?
Are these now ultra rare?
As im doing the car farly original i really need a set of 4, any help appreciated.

And i nearly forgot, looks like one previous owner tried to eat the steering wheel, so if anyone knows where to get a fairly good secondhand 83 steering wheel...........

the bowling ball hub caps are ultra rare only because the knight rider people grab them up and drive the price of them sky high so if you find them you are going to pay top $$$ for them i do not think anyone makes repro hub caps

15" N89 Turbo cast wheels are what the kitt car had and are what us knight rider freaks want. And the main reason for the high price's are not many 82 /83 WS6/WS7 cars were made in the first place.

Low supply,me and high demand = high prices

Simple economics.

R1UK Read my sig I got 14" Bowling ball caps in stock at a great price.

if you want to pay a few hundred bucks go for it. Not worth it in my opinion for hubcaps. 14" are somewhat cheaper because they are less desirable. The price is not high because they are "Ultra Rare". Ever try to get regular firebird hubcaps...the silver ones with the bird logo in the center? If anything those are more "rare" than the Turbcast hubcaps and I've seen them on Ebay for 5-10 bucks for a set and nobody wants them. Not many people want the 14" wheels and hubcaps either, but they will still go for hundreds. The only reason these rims/hubcaps are so expensive is because of the knight rider people as said in the previous post. Some people do make repo's of the hubcaps but they are so expensive also you might as well buy the real thing. And the repo's are CHEAP...as in CRAP.

Thanks for the replies, and i can see why 15" are hard to get.

3RDGen, i sent you an e-mail, about some 14" caps.
It was either the caps or:
Change the wheels [and suitable 83 era wheels are not common here] or glue some centre caps on, but as 2 are missing, it could prove expensive to keep replacing them.
