A few years ago I bought a replica notchback from a fellow board member. I had the intention of putting it on my car but never got around to it. I was looking at it the other day and found some things on it that I think are interesting. I found the name of an auto body shop called, Incaudo's Auto Body. There is also a sticker dated 10-19-83 and reads Mold 2 BF 60.8in. There is also a phone number writen in black marker too. I am wondering if anybody has ever heard of a notch put on the cars before the factory did.
I did find a website with that name and the area code of the phone number matches the city the shop is in.

Anybody?? I will try to post pics of it soon.

Yes, there was an aftermarket notchback hatch available during the early years of the thirdgen. I was thinking '84-ish, so that's close to the date on yours. There might've been a couple of different styles too.
I think the first one to show-up had a deck with a molded (fake) "louvered" pattern, similar to a Fiero. And given its resemblance to the Fiero, the time period would be about right.
I saw one of the "louvered" ones on a junkyard bird about 5 years ago.

C&C offered an aftermarket Notchback. The pamphlet I have is from either 1984 or 1985, as they have the 1985 models listed...
Post a pic of it...
