I was going through a pile of parts, and came upon a computer that is supposed to be for an 83 trans am with the crossfire engine.
Here's my questions.
Did the different engines receive different computers?
If I could find the part number, could someone identify this computer?
And if it does prove to be a crossfire computer, is this thing valuable at all?

1: Yes
2: Yes
3: No
Sorry to be so blunt but it's not worth a damn thing unless you find someone who happens to be looking for one and REALLY wants it. Most people want to get rid of thier CFI and go carb or TPI or something as long as it's not CFI. I personally like CFI for some odd reason but like I said, most don't.

Yeah I like CFI too, but even I would toss that computer in the trash
. If the manifold as-cast didn't cripple that setup enough, the computer finished it off. But so I don't sound like a total jerk and to keep this on a restoration topic, yes the computer might be worth something to somebody who is restoring a stock 83' CFI car.
