I'm looking for the switch to release the tonneau on my 91 Z28 convertible. I was told that 91 and 92 were the only two years with it located on the toneau itself and not in the console. I need the switch in the tonneau. Are they the same switch(the one in the console and the one in the tonneau)?
Thanks,
Kraig

i have seen that switch from 88- 92 years on the camaro and 91-92 pontiac, the only way to know about the switch is to look at both of them, its only a simple switch, dont think it could be that hard to fix it,
The switch works ok...It was glued in because the tabs are broke off. I just bought the car and I'm fixing all the little issues. I agree if the switch was inop it should be pretty easy to fix. I was thinking about buying a hatch release switch and trying to use the back of it to fix my tonneau switch? Maybe? Of course I would just as soon find the right switch. I have attached a picture of my switch to compare with others.
