i want to install a rear hatch release in my85 i have the switch that mounts on the console,the wiring what kind of latch do i need to make this work ? and does anyone have one?85 camaro nonpulldown hatch

there is a solenoid that attaches to the locking mechanism, and a relay that hooks into the gear selection to keep the hatch from popping while the car is in gear.
I am going to be making this mod soon, but I'm try to bypass the relay, and position the hatch release somewhere hidden so it won't be accidently bumped.
First thing I have to do it run current and ground to the solenoid, and make sure it kicks over when power is applied to it. It should, unless this one operates radically differently than others that I have worked with on other GM cars
After I make it kick over like that, It's no big deal to run a hot wire to the switch, and mount it under the front leg of the drivers seat with some sort of bracket.
