door locks

door locks

i have a 86 z28 camaro and i have a question about one of my door locks. wen i hit my alarm to lock my car up or hit my electric door lock on my door my passenger side door dont lock.but i am able to lock it by hand.is there somethin i can oil up or replace.

After 20 years, you can imagine that the mechanism is gummed up. You're problem is common. Many members, to include me, have had luck in simply cleaning and relubing (do the window tracks while you're in the door panel). If that doesn't work, then replace.
