Either Ive got something installed wrong, or my vent ducts for the heater are leaking like mad! I know i've got a leak coming from the resistor (bolt holes stripped, not 100% seal), but I put the vents on dash (no floor), and I could still feel air coming from somewhere underneath. From the looks of it, there used to be some kind of foam seals around where it's leaking, but they're long gone. I Was wondering if a few squirts of expanding foam (LITTLE squirts) would seal it up pretty good. I know, cheap fix, but I really dont want to pull this dash back out anytime soon. Other than possible fumes for a week or so, can anyone see any potential problems?

For the price of a can of that stuff why don't you just buy some foam and shove it in there? I wouldn't recommend expanding foam... you'd have a hell of a mess and probolly won't work very good.

main reason I wanted to use expanding foam is because though it's a foam, it's still pretty air tight compared to store bought foam like at hobby shop. Im gonna look at it more closely tomorrow night when I head out to the shop, I might think of something else, I just wanted to run this by yall to see what ya think
