I recently put a set of 4th gen seats in my 92 and I am wondering how to put the rear seats in it, also how to remove my old ones.

Also will 4th gen floor mats fit? If so how well?

Re: Fourth Gen Seats/Floormats
Assuming that your current back seats have the 1 piece back rest just like the 4th gen seats, they are a 100% direct bolt-in. To take the old seat backs out, you unbolt them at the pivot point. Once you look at it, you'll see how. The lowers have 1 bolt underneath the front that needs to come out, then they just lift out of place. If you take a look at the 4th gen seats that are out of the car, you'll see clear as day how they work.

As for the 4th gen mats, they fit pretty well. I've got a set in my Camaro at the moment. They're not a 100% perfect fit, but they're pretty good.

Thanks Jim. I got the one piece out of a 94 Camaro but my 92 has the two piece so I need to figure out how to do it.

And okay. Do you by chance have pictures so I can order them?

Re: Fourth Gen Seats/Floormats
I don't have any pics right now, but if I think of it I'll take some next time I'm in the garage. If you can get them cheap, they make a nice "daily driver" mat. I bought new carpet and mats for my car, but I intend to continue using the 4th gen mats except for shows & cruise nights when I'll toss my good mats in.

Getting your 2-piece rear seat out is basically the same procedure, except after they're out you'll have to trim the center mounting tab so that it doesn't interfere with the 1 piece 4th gen seat.
