Hi everyone, I have a 89 camaro iroc i'm restoring. When I got it the dash was out. Theres lots of wires still where the dash was in the car, and lots of wires still attached to the dash. All connectors are intact. I was wondering if anyone had photos or a dash wiring diagram to know what little lights go where, and whats what as far as connector to connector.

I can figure out the obvious connectors that fit to connectors that fit, its jsut the rest.

I have no motor, trans, conv top, interior so everyone knows where im at.
I also have a huge pile of all the rubber gaskets to figure out where they go. Past owner stripped the car, painted it and lost interest, so im putting pieces back.,

I restored my car over a 7 year period and had the same dilema. My solution, I picked up an identical car, cheap, and used it for reference. Once you are done, sell it off!

Re: dashboard wiring
Hey I'm kinda in same boat, but I have a aftermarket zz4 engine that previous owner put in and no experience. Where do I start to find where the plugs go where to make my gauges work. I had fuel, speedometer, and battery work before I quit driving it almost 3 years ago, now I'm blessed with this job I been able to make it rain to get my "first" car going back again. I have upgraded the suspension, rebuilt the tranny and engine with some nice upgrades just need more information on how to figure out where the wires go where

Re: dashboard wiring
If you're doing a significant resto, the original GM shop manual,
from Helms, is indispensible. I just checked their web-site, and the going
price for paper volumes is in the $170 range. Maybe a bit pricey, but,
I assure you, well worth it.

Thanks for keeping the breed alive, and keep up the good work.
