In the process of dyeing my interior plastics and not sure how to remove the plastic cover from the front seat belt retainer.

I don't think these are meant to be disassembled -- they were always sold as a complete assembly, and I've never seen anyone take one apart. If you want to try anyway, you might start by drilling out that metal rivet on the outer plastic cover.

That's what I'm finding looking around as well. Oh well, was worth a shot!
