I received a bracket that is approx. 1.5 inches thick, 7 inches long and 4-5 inches wide. It looks maybe like a rear support bracket but it sure as hell isn't the Alt/power steering bracket that takes up half of the front of the motor. I contacted the person 4 days ago and no response.

I sent you a link to the part in which I described, you had no response. If you would have acknowledged that the part I sent you was in fact the one you asked for froma 89 vette, the link you provided was for a camaro not a corvette.......
