Thanks again Parker. It's sad to have to let all the stuff go, but it's a relief to finally get that stuff sold. I really hope you're pleased with all of it.

There's one thing about the transmission that I'm not sure I told you about or not. Like I said, the transmission has all the internal upgrades, including "dog-ring" engagement replacing the synchros.

You can drive it like a normal transmission, but you must keep a couple things in mind:

-Because of the design of the dog-rings, while stationary you may not be able to select all 5 gears, depending on how the gears inside the case are oriented at any one time. While moving, any gear can always be selected (except reverse while you're moving forward of course).

This means that while coming to a stop, you need to put the transmission into 1st gear before you come to a stop, to insure that you can select it when you need to move again. (I can explain why this is, if you'd like)

-Secondly, again because of the design of dog-rings. If you put the clutch in and move the shifter into a gear, it WILL go into that gear. There are no synchros to "grind" and prevent the gears from engaging. For example, if you were at 6000 RPM in 2nd gear and miss the shift to 3rd, and accidentally shift into 1st gear, it will go into first gear. If you accidentally downshifted from 5th gear to 2nd, it will go into gear. This is why I so strongly recommend an aftermarket shifter like the Hurst or Pro5.0

-After that, I'm sure that dog-ring engagement sounds like a terrible idea. But what they're great for is lightning quick shifts. You can shift without using the clutch pedal, simply slightly lift off the gas for a moment to "unload" the gears and move the shifter into the next gear, and it will go in easily. You can shift incredibly fast, as quick as you can move the shifter. I've heard that you can also shift without lifting the gas and unloading the gears, but no promises and try that at your own risk
