I'm new to the world of third gen camaros. I recently purchased one on a whim as it was a killer deal. A 1987 camaro (LT?) that was originally a US car with a v6. Someone did a bad v8 carb swap and a repaint but the body is VERY solid. Floors and quarter panels are excellent and there was some minor patch work done on the rockers. The interior is rough but usable for now. 800$ cdn (29.95 US I figure) and i was able to drive it home. All the rides on this site are giving me great ideas. Starting with making it safe first though...

Welcome aboard cardin555. Looks like you stole that one.
Ungawa, looks like a pretty solid foundation to start with.Looking forward to the progress.
There are quite a few cars up here that are rotten due to road conditions and neglect. I went to see a 1988 trans am GTA that had holes in the floor and was misfiring badly. He still wanted 3500$.
