Lakewood traction action lift bars??

In 1999 Lakewood introduced a traction action lift bar for the 3rd Generation Camaro/Firebird, does anyone have them or know anyone who does.

I bought them and returned them because when I tried to thread the heim joints into the lift bars they stripped out. The holes were tapped before they were plated and the treads became too tight. I also think the lift bars will conflict with the torque arm. The lift bars are a redundant piece. Just get an aftermarket torque arm from Random Technology. I have one on my Camaro. It takes about 2 hours to install and works great.
