I need the space on my Camaro for a turbo project. Does anyone know it its ok to remove the whole EGR system?? Also how old does your car have to be to e emissions exempt? Thanks, Baron

I believe the emissions rule is that if your car is 25 years old or older, than you are exempt.
As for the EGR question, CT does not conduct a visual under the hood for emissions equipment. The car is just put on a set of rollers and a sniffer is stuck in the tailpipe. If you have OBD II, they also scan the computer for any DTCs that may be stored.
Hope that helps.
