Who else is ready for Sandy?
Well as many know in this area, Hurricane Sandy is gonna kick our a**. So ive been trying to weather proof the Camaro as much as i could. Towels all over the inside of the car, two car covers, and theyre tied down. Times like this i wish i had a garage
Hopefully she makes it out alive..close call for Irene last year. Anyone else in Jersey getting ready? Wish us luck guys and stay safe anyone in the area.

I'm on Long Island...Car is in the garage, as long as the Oak tree next door doesnt fall on it I should be ok. I'm 1/2 mile from the bay so I hoping the crazy tide doesn't surge in a flood me out.

Damn, good luck. water wont be a problem here, but trees and all the rain will. Hopefully we make it out of this ok.

good luck guys. i'm in NE ohio myself, we aren't getting it as bad as you but we're definitely getting it. Alot of flooding going on right now along with sustained 25+ mph wind with gusts over 60 mph.

got my power back after 4 days.... Seems like FEMA is on the ball this time around lots of help coming in. Had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get gas the other day but hear they are opening the ports up to the fuel barges so fuel is coming in now!

Re: Who else is ready for Sandy?
Hey all, Finally got my power back since the storm hit last Monday.. Lots of down trees in my area and the winds were real bad like everywhere. Besides going crazy all week from having no power, the Camaro made it out ok. Both covers lifted up off the car, but stayed tied down. Just lots of leaves that were caked on and debris. No damage. That really sucks for that bird that had the garage collapse on it.
hope anyone in NJ and the surrounding states affected made it out ok with the storm last week and the Nor'easter last night. Stay safe everyone
