Finished painting my fiberglass hood. This is my design hood with 2" cowl induction following the lines of the z-28/iroc inserts. Hood is made with 2 pieces (inner/outer), carbon fiber inside scoop, and embedded machined aluminum for standard hinge, latch and spring mounting. Also made more clearence for the air box. Air box can be expanded an 1 1/2" taller which will allow double air flow. Next thing I am tooling is the nose piece (IROC/fog lamps removed) with air channels directly into the air filter box.
I've posted some pics.

Thanks guys,
Yes, I did all the work. The prototype, the molds and the final product.

Gabe: I couldn't remember what stage my hood was at when we met. I must have just finished the paint the day before we met.

Thanks again, it makes me feel like I didn't waste hundreds of hours of my time building it. I started a thread under Body/Interior yesterday as well.
Jason: yes I do plan on making more. When are we all going to meet up somewhere sometime. Has anything happened with the dyno deal?
I'm still planning on going to Famoso in Oct or Nov. Let's get something going.
