Went to the track last Fri. and ran a 14.8 @ 92mph 2.2 60'... Not too bad but I think I can get a 14.5-14.2 out of it with a better 60'... Just learning to launch with slicks..

I'd say that's pretty good for 17 year old motor with minor mods. Think about porting your heads and a cam upgrade, i did it and am very pleased.

Yeah... I might do the heads and stuff some day on this one... I just built by '84 305 and made it a 335 stroker with WP heads, compcam, headers etc... I'm looking forward to seeing what it will do!
