For t top cars, I have read about B pillar damage caused by excessive twisiting in drag racing race scenario's - Where does this damage or creasing show ?
I don't know if this is considered to be part of the B-pillar, but would excessive body twist cause creasing / rippling on the curved body piece in the door jamb area just back of the rocker/ sill plate area?
Any photo's would be of assistance

From what I've heard, it's usually cracks at the back of the t-top.
The only body damage I created in all the years I've raced my car is on the back passenger side of the tranny tunnel. When I was still using a torque arm suspension, The hard force of launches was forcing the LCA on that side forward and it was wrinkling the floor. Since then I've converted to ladder bars and have never had a problem.
From day one, my car has had sub frame connectors. By my second race season, I was dipping into the high 11's and had a 6 point roll bar installed. I now have a full cage so my car is stiffer than a street car that has just SFC.
My car has never had any other body damage from racing, even around the t-tops. A black car will show wrinckles very easily.

Thanks - I have seen the damage at the weld where the rear of the roof meets the upper sail panel - is this considered the B-Pillar?
Regarding the floor wrinkling - I guess this would show in the back seat floor. Do you think that the dog leg on the rear quarter where it meets meets the rocker could be wrinkled by launch stress?
(the curved section below the door striker where it is welded to the rocker)
Do you have any pointers to look for under the car for that would indicate stress damage, I was wondering if the car be inspected adequately without putting it on a lift?
Thanks
