The cold air didn't help at all. 12 teens all day long 1.60 60"'s
MPH was off a bit 107 to 109 as there was a good head wind.
Jetting up,, down, , playing with shooters, uncapping the exhaust didn;t change it at all.

And lots of these...... and nothing broke !!!!

Re: Cayuga Saturday
What do you have for a rear suspension?
If I could get my car to leave like that I'd be running mid 12's all day. Now I'm 12.9 @ 107 with a 1.79 60'.

The vid in FLV format robs picture frames and makes it hard to see.
The origional AVI shows it better. The pic is a extracted frame from the vid.
Comes up for sure but just a wee bit. Got another one where you can see the car bounce from a wheelie. You can feel that too. You can feel when the wheels pop up and when they don;t on different passes.
I made 11 passes that day. Pretty well had the track to my self.

Had three buds track side watchin and videoing and they said they definatly saw daylight under them tires a good few times.

What do you have for a rear suspension?
Just air bags 40# in one side and 10-15# in the other.
This is/was a V6 car so V6 springs and struts.
Urethane replacement transmission mount.

All the other usual chassis goodies are on the wish list....

Nitrous (next spring) will surely get 'er way up in the air. (or bust something)

Seems to be working pretty good thou as is. I was only looking for a 12.5 from this combo. It has exceeded all expectations by a lot.

I'm in a real delemia as to what to do with this car.
This motor is comming out and a few 350's are going in to play around a bit.
The nitrous 350 next year will be able to run much faster than the track rules allow without a roll bar installed. Don't really want to make this into a track car. I'm thinking about getting another car and just keep this one a street car. It's plenty fast for that and still fun to cruise around in.

I'd really like to get something much lighter and go nuts on that.
Like and early RX7 or a stripped down base model Camaro void everything that does not make it go ,steer or stop.
