First of all, it was damn cold, and windy too. Fvck NJ.

Second, I guess the advertising said that either you had to have a Vette of Black LS1 TA (with chrome WS6 wheels) to enter, as that was all there really was. I swear there were at least 25 TA that looked EXACTLY alike. Maybe 3 or 4 LS1 Camaros, a few LT1 Vettes, maybe 5 third gens, 25 GNs, 10 Berettas, and 10 Grand Prix.

The funny part is that maybe 2 people running LS1 stick cars didn't hit their rev limiters, all the other meatheads did, pretty shameful in any gear other than 1st in my opinion. I guess people think that because they can buy a stick car that they can drive it well, hell no.

Anyway, there were a few moded LS1s in the low 12's (NOS or motor work), a stroked LS1 Vette (ran 10.80), a couple of quick GNs and a boatload of 13 and 14 second cars. As usual, the pits were half full and the parking lot was full (why not race?).

Truthfully, with the 3pm shutdown of the event and the friggin cold weather, I was surprised it was as crowded. I don't expect the event in July to be as full (5 hours racing sux for 20 bux).

I went with a freind who wiped out his clutch on the first run (LT1 TA).

My car is back on the road in a week or two (too damn cold now).
