How come you're getting rid of the turbo system? Also, is that pcv tubing for the intake side?

Ive decided to go twins on my 383....I wish I could keep it for a future project but I cant afford to right now. I really just want to sell this to purchase 2 Masterpower T-70's and 2 tial wastegates....So, someone could have a complete kit cheap. Also, I'm not sure what exactly you are asking about...but if its the thing right next to the BOV thats my Snow performance Alcohol injection nozzle.

All pictured but the MAF sensor and the O2 sensor and alky nozzle would be included. Parts included would be

BBSdesigns single Race turbo header

A T-61 turbo with 2,000 miles on new bearings/housing and balance.

A turbonetics wastegate with a 5-7psi spring and a 9-13psi spring

All hot piping, aka. turbo header, drivers side header, 2.5" crossover pipe, 3" down pipe, and the custom 3" exhaust w/cutout I made to connect the downpipe to any catback system on a 82-92 Fbody. Also included are all the Band clamps and V-band clamps needed.

charge pipes w/reinforced silicone couplers- from the dischage of the turbo to the throttle body of a TPI. Also comes with a pipe for speed density setups.

A Blitz DD supersound blow off valve.

New copper exhaust gaskets.

I've also been tossing around including the alcohol injection....its the Snow Performance stage 1 kit

And then like stated before I have the timing an fuel covered for a 305 TPI. which could go with it as well.

I am seriously interested. Anyone know if the T61 will work equally well on a 350?

Would be able to pick it up as well.

***** EDIT ******

After talking with Mike (Ol' Blue) he corrected me, that turbo will support up to 600hp and has a turbine .AR of .81, which would be fine for a mild 350 depending on your power goals. He'll be back on here tomorrow night to elaborate. Sorry for the misinformation.

TheT61 is basicly the same turbo that BBSdesigns included with the Single race turbo kit (62-1). It will support up to 650hp The BBS kit was designed to work with both 305 and 350 motors with straight plug heads and accel shorty plugs...and no this kit will not work with the AC on an 88-up thirdgen. But with my 87 Trans Am I think I could have kept my AC with very little work. Mainly because the AC compressor was on the drivers side.

The injectors are low mile and would be perfect replacements for a 350 I can include them too...as I have no use for them...I will be starting with 42-50# injectors.

I was inquiring more to if it will work with the serpentine bracketry period. I would run a 1LE AC delete. The pics you have are on the older style half serpentine half vbelt setup.

I do have the 87 simple setup extra too so I should be covered.

Huh, looks like a hooker header on the driver’s side… I’m assuming that the passenger side is custom? Any better pictures of it?

I was under the impresion that you had to run the shorty plugs with the stock heads .... straight plug heads you can run normal plugs

I ran some stock length AC Delco plugs once.....they were harder to get in...the Accels make the install so much easier.....

Was the problem with plug clearance only on the driver's side? Did the boots touch the header if non-shorty plugs are used or is the header tube in the way?

They cleared, but you have to put some of them in with a wrench and with the tight compartment it wasnt easy to do.

I always thought the stock heads have their own angle called the "L-98 angle" .

Fun and flying pistons!

I got a 305 for free from one of my car club buddies and im throwing my 350 topend on it (64cc ported heads and ported TPI) I also ordered a turbo cam for it. Should put me at low 8 to one compression.

This is just a temp motor until I can rebuild the 350 for lower compression.

Can't wait to fire it!
