I have the 330hp crate engine with vortec heads and cast pistons. My intake is the RPM (square bore) with an adaptor plate for my 670cfm holley TB. This isn't a choice I'm going to make until mid summer but I'd like to know what you guys think would get me into the mid 12's. I still have the 3.08 peg leg so I know I need to get 3.42 or 3.73 and posi and a strongthen the rear. I program my own eproms so tuning and retarding should be okay. I was looking for a No2 kit, the 50-100-150 kit for square bore. I'm kind of worried about the cast pistons though. I've seen kits that say 125hp is fine for cast stock pistons. I'll only be using the No2 sparingly. I'm probably going to end up changing back to a OEM roller setup with a zz4 take off cam and pro mag roller rockers 1.6 ratio. Any opinions are welcome?
