Thats a twin turbo sbc. Now why couldn't Pontiac have made a few of those for regular production?

That motor sure looks like the one that was @ the Vette Museum, only with IC's.

the cost and tuning of making a production car would far outweigh any profits...many people say the TTA should've been a turbo'ed L98, but there is SOOO much R&D that goes into stuff like that..
