I have it with my hooker long tube headers. I love the sound of it. its very loud and raspy sounding. Your not going to be sneaking up on anyone with it though. It fit pretty good too. ground clearance is good and it fit well in the back and over the axle as well. Where are you located in Indiana? |
I also have the long tube headers (Hooker Super Comps) and I love the sound from the Mufflex 4" system. The fit was good but I had to have some slight modifications made to the Y after the Spohn 350 torque arm was installed (really minor modification). |
I have a few sound clips on my web page if your interested: http://www.geocities.com/gtaluv/Index.html |
I had the 4" on a 305 and it sounded pretty good with edelbrock headers. Now that I have swapped a 406 into the car with SLP headers, I have not started it yet but I think it will sound mean. Are the Hooker long tubes any better than the SLP 1 3/4"? Is it a noticeable difference? Thanks Steve |
