I am truly honored to be up again. I was going to step down this month, but a 2 car cotm is no fun. Charcoal's car is great, and I've always loved John's Berlinetta! Anyways as most of you probably know by now. this is my 86 sport coupe I've been slowly restoring with my dad over the last few years. Powered by a built up small block through a slipping 700r4 and a howling 10 bolt! She's coming together slowly. Will be getting a 383 soon ;) and maybe I should fix the tranny and rear too while I'm at it, lol

Voted for CB since I seconded him before.
but all are very nice.

I also learned something.. I forgot that the Berlinetta had the larger holes in the front fascia are larger and the sport coupe have smaller.. eventhough I owned a 83 SC I thought it was the other way around! weird huh?

The Berlinetta and Coupe shared the same noses thru-out production. Both cars used exactly the same nose from 82-84 and then again after the re-design from 85-87.

Now I REALLY wish I would have taken a few better pics last Summer !! 'Mean Green' was stripped of every nut/bolt and the entire body was stripped to metal (firewall, door sills - everything ) and re-painted a couple years ago. From the factory it was a mild mannered LG4/auto with 3.08's, but it's been converted and modified several times since I bought it back in 92'. Most recent stats:

LT1, LT4 springs, LT4 Knock Sensor, Full Steel RR's, Composite Valve Covers
T56, Stage 3 clutch, Aluminum Shaft, 98' ZT POSI with 4.11's
LS1 Slotted/Drilled Brakes Front/Rear
Jegster SFC, 36mm front, 25mm Rear Bars,
Poly Bushings Front, Rear, Motor Mounts, & Tranny Mount
ZR1 Wheels, 275/40/17's
Dyno Don 1 3/4" Headers, Random Tech 3" Cat, Magnaflow 3" Cat-back
Duel Lier Siegler Conteur Buckets, custom "CAMARO" upholstery
8 Speaker BOSE, 12 Disk CD Changer
4th Gen Keyless Entry, Twilight Sentinal Rear View, AC Delete
Intelletronics Speedo (top speed 1/4 mile, ect... ), 5500 Red-line Tach
Daytona Cowl hood, 87+ Rear Fin / 3rd Brake Light, 'Wet-Arm' Wipers
New Weather-Stripping
ALL power options; Even kept the factory Rear Wiper !

Wheels are XXR 526s 18x9 with 275/35 up front and 18x10.5 wrapped in 295/35 BFG KDW2s.
Upgraded to 91-92 T/A tail lights and blacked out.

Suspension includes:
1.75" LoTek Lowering Springs
KYB struts/shocks(will be swapped out for Koni Yellows)

This is the first time I had a hard time picking, but I have such a soft spot for LT1s.

John in Ri badass ride man!
Has my vote. Sometimes a waxed bare bones car doesnt cut it! Lots of cars like that look good in photos. until you see them in person.

Also voted for John, as he has been a plethora of information, as well as provided a lot of the hard to find parts on my build. Good Luck John!
