camaro to a trans am shift knob ????

will a square type shift knob from a camaro (auto) fit on a trans am shifter without mods?? anyone have one for sale if it does??

Yes, it fits without a problem. My dads '87 Trans Am has my '89 IROC shifter knob on it.

You can find those knobs in just about any mid 80's to mid 90's GM car that has console shift. I found one I was happy with in a Corsica for like $3 at my local boneyard
