problem when i step on brakes.....

i have a problem, when i am driving my car and i step on the brakes, the car pulls to one side, is there something with the brake pads or something worse? can anyone help me out?

if it pulls to the right theres something wrong with the left side (or vice versa). most likely, the rubber brake lines have cracked on that side and thus not enough caliper pressure. or the caliper has frozen. calipers are like 10 bucks for a reman at autozone. i would switch to stainless steel lines as well.

well that makes sense since the brake light inside the car stays on alot untill i step the brake sown to the floor, and then it comes on a little bit later.

yea..bleed your brakes too. the light will come on if there is heavily uneven pressure.

Mine were the same way, stepped on the brakes and the car would pull hard left. Both of the rubber lines up front were crackes all the way around, apparently the left one was holding more pressure. Here's what they looked like....
