Rotor caliper issue. Help.... The back side of my rotor is hitting the caliper case and rubbing metal to metal on my 4th gen conversion. I am wondering how to correct the problem, would I make a 1/8 spacer to put between the axel and the rotor? Any help would be much appreciated. |

Re: Rotor caliper issue. Help.... It's your axles. If you put 93-97 brakes on a 98+ rear the axles aren't the correct length. You need to get a set off an LT1. Wish I had caught you sooner, I have a complete 3 channel swap off a 2001. Just joined this board specifically to sell it. |
Re: Rotor caliper issue. Help.... Hey, Ryan, Welcome to TGO. It would have been nice for the OP to have checked back in so that he could have detailed exactly what his 'fourthgen' conversion was. JamesC |
Re: Rotor caliper issue. Help.... Thanks James. What's OP mean? PM'd you |
