parking brake stuck down...
 
so I'm trying to remove my console out of 84 trans am i just bought monday and i have spent all night trying to remove the console to remove the carpet and the e-brake has me so frustrated.. im assuming the cables are rusted any ideas how i can get it unstuck?

Remove the cables from the adjuster, which is found above the drive shaft in the tunnel.
