'91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP SOLD!! Note: Due to personal/family matters that I would prefer to not discuss publicly, partially stemming from the devastating tornadoes that ripped through my hometown recently... the Camaro is available to sell. I'm not expecting the car to be sold immediately and hopefully all things will work out and I'll be able to keep the Camaro. So consider this a 'feeler' thread unless if your seriously interested. ---------------------------------------- 1991 Z28 L98 - T-Top - T56 - 95k Miles - $9,950 Car was a factory L98/G92 Package(700r4 Transmission, Hardtop), but was modified at the original dealership at the request of the 1st owner, and the T-Top's were added. The T-Top's ARE aftermarket, the car is a TRUE L98/G92. I am the 4th Owner of this car. The first two owners were female's that took care and babied the car. The 3rd owner did most of the aftermarket work and took GREAT care of the car, this was actually probably the least valuable car in his amazing car collection. Factory Options: - L98 5.7 - 700r4 - G92 Performance Package - Power Windows - Power Locks - Power Hatch Release - Foglights Performance Modifications - Dart 215cc Iron Eagle Heads - 2.05 Valves - 1.55 Roller Springs - TPIS ZZ-X Camshaft - .598 lift 242 @50 Duration - Hydraulic Roller Cam - Crane Cam’s Gold 1.6 Roller Rockers - TPIS Miniram Intake - Ford SVO 30lb Injectors - 1000cfm 58mm Holley Billet Throttle Body - 180degree Thermostat - Underdrive Pulley - Smog Pump Pulley Delete - Stock ECM Tuned - Ed Wright Superchips - MSD 6AL Box - New AC Delco 55* Spark Plugs(Maybe 150miles) - Taylor Red 8 Wires - Custom 4inch Cold Air Intake with K&N Filter - Hooker Super Comp Longtube 1 3/4 Headers - 3in Collector into 2.5in True Duals with Dynomax Bullet’s Drivetrain Modifications - '96 SS T-56 6-Speed Transmission - Spec Stage 3 Clutch - Pro 5.0 Shifter - Hurst Pistol Grip - Aluminum 1LE Driveshaft - Moser 12-Bolt Rear-End - 33-Spline Gun-Drilled Axels - US Gear 4:30 Gears With Spool Suspension Modifications - Spohn T-56 Crossmember w/Driveshaft Loop - Spohn T-56 Adj. The car has only been mail-ordered tune, more fine tuning would be nice... the car has a tendency to run a little rich, but it's just too hard to dial the car in completely with a mail-order tune. Car starts great, idles great, responds to throttle great. Clutch is in great condition. The rear gears do not whine. Car is very street friendly, takes off smoothly, brakes very well, responds well to steering. Yet, should easily pull high 11's at the track(just a safe guess). Interior looks spotless, looks like car has only 200miles on it from the inside, no dash cracks, no seat rips, no fading, no cracked pieces. Even has the proper T-56 Shifter panel. Has all the original floor mats(front and rear). All the power options work very well, windows roll down quickly, locks work everytime, hatch releases without a problem. The T-Tops absolutely do not leak. Exterior is in great condition, no rust. Car is appraised at well over the asking price for Insurance purposes. One small dent on Passenger Fender from an item falling on it in previous owners garage. Just one or two small nicks here and there in the paint(original paint). Front GFX also has the common few scrapes. Car did have a front bra on it for some time, the front end shows a little wear here and there from where the bra set, but no paint is fading or damaged. Car came equipped with foglights, but the foglights were removed at some time. The button on the dash works, and the harness's to plug into the fog lights are still in the car... just needs the foglights. ----------------- I am located in SW Missouri. If you have any questions, feel free to PM or Email me, camcovert@cableone.net I can assist in bringing the car a small distance to meet if your traveling from a long ways out. Again, I am asking $9,950. There is absolutely nothing that I can say the car needs... it's set and ready to go! ----------------- Video With Old Exhaust By Nick(BlueZee28) http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e9...h_DSCF2312.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF3011.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2994.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2950.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2914.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2898.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2921.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2907.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2931.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a3...8/DSCF2938.jpg |

Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP Man dude i hope you can work it out and keep the car it looks like its a bad car! |
Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP I don't see too many like this floating around here. IMMACULATE car, man. When I see cars like this, it always makes my heart sink a little bit when I think of how long I would have to go to get mine looking like that. As much as I imagine you need the money, I hope that you DON'T sell this car, because nothing would be more heartbreaking than some kid with daddy's deep pockets buying this fine piece of performance car history from you and then wrapping it around a telephone pole after a drug rave. This car needs to stay in the hands of someone who loves it. I hope things get better for you, I really do. Don't give up the fight. |
Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP Thanks for the all the encouragement guys. It looks as though I will definately sell the Camaro if someone is interested... which I do have one person who seems quite interested in the car. Let me know if you have any questions. |

Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP So you wouldn't be interested in any trade? |
Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP that is probably the nicest engine compartment ive ever seen, looks like it came from the factory like that, very clean an well designed, looks like miniram was factory installed an the rest of the stuff under the hood. |
Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP The car was just recently inspected by CarChex.com for a guy in California... I'm happy to say, the report came back with a near perfect rating. The only 'negatives' listed were the small dent on the passenger fender, the minor scuffs on the front GFX and one or two nicks in the paint. |

Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP I'd like to clear out the car as soon as possible... life as I know it is a complete mess right now(blah blah, we've all said that before right?). If your remotely interested, contact me so that we can discuss different possible scenarios. PM or email: camcovert@cableone.net |

Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP Guys, this car is amazing in every aspect. It was parked by me at my April Cruise Night that i run in Joplin, MO. Do you remember me man, im the one that had the orange 3rd gen that was right by you. Don't hesitate on this car guys, i can honestly say, that if i had the money this would be the third gen i would buy over most any other 3rd gen ive seen. It is immaculate. Good luck selling, and my prayers are with you man. |

Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP Yea, i don't turn 16 til next month and my car isn't legal yet (hopefully soon it will be). Our next cruise is July 19th. It would be really cool to see you there man. If you can make it, PM me on here or something to let me know and i will save you a spot by me. I'm not sure if i'll have my orange car there or not. I have a '84 bone stock z28 also, so it might be there. Either way, it would be good if you could make it. And honestly man, i hope things work out and you don't sell this, it's too nice to let go. Your in my prayers bro. L8r -Chris- ---------- O yea, i think the car that's next to mine in my pic is a firebird, it was from a cruise last year. |
Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP TGO - Members Only Deal ;) $9900... ... Don't bother offering anything lower. |

Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP Would sell car with Silver ZR1's 17x11 w/275's all around instead of the Chrome Z06's for $9750. ZR1's would be great for mounting some fat tires(I'd love to) if you ever wanted to get traction with this car... |
Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP Didn't think it'd be such a frustration to sell this car when it came down to me needing to help family members months ago. Anyway, Bump! If A Mod Reads: Could you possibily go back to my initial/1st post and change the $10,800 price to $9950? |
Re: '91 Z28 L98/T56 - T-Top - 400WHP Hey man, my cruise night is this saturday. It'd be cool if you could come by. |
