Re: FS 92 z28 camaro could you send pics of the engine and other angles of the car please? thanks, jerry jer4251@hotmail.com |
Re: FS 92 z28 camaro I love the car, but I only have 800 to spend on getting a camaro currently. No form of income due to no more job, I did have 1,100 to begin with, but it was broken down thanks to a few unwanted expenses. I am currently living with family in texas, looking for a third gen for 800, even if it has no motor or tranny, hoping to sell some parts off my car that was wrecked so i can go back to being whole again. :( |
Re: FS 92 z28 camaro What will buy the car and what could we do about getting it to Arkansas? Is there any rust or other problems and is it 350 or 305? |

Re: FS 92 z28 camaro Does the paint on the hood have two big dull spots, or is that just a lighting thing in the picture? A/C work? Do the interior power accessories work? Like locks, windows, etc Does the car still have all the factory emissions equipment? When the fuel pump was installed, was it done properly by dropping the tank or was the floor cut? Do the stock wheels have tires? I'm interested in the car, but I live far away so I have to ask alot of questions about it. I know its a hassle, sorry. Also, does it run good? Would you feel comfortable driving it on a 12 hour road trip? |
Re: FS 92 z28 camaro is the car still for sale? Very interested, and headed that way very soon |
Re: FS 92 z28 camaro -The car needs to be waxed but its light oxidation where the dull spots are -a/c compressor, receiver dryer and tube are all new it just needs to be evacuated and charged. I replaced everything because the old compressor started leaking and it all need to be converted anyway. -all power accessories are fully functional -car does not have the factory emissions installed but i do have all the original pieces except for the cats. -i dropped the tank...i dont like cutting my car up... -stock wheels do not have tires. if you want the stock wheels i can switch them out and work the price a few hundred. -motor and trans run perfectly and i would definetly feel comfortable driving 12hours on it. Last year I took the car on a trip from orlando to Jacksonville and back which isnt at all 12 hours but I didn't have a single issue and that was a good amount of stop and go traffic. The car currently does not have a cat-back installed(magnaflow if i didnt mention it before). I am in the process of having it installed. So if someone is very interested then i will expedite the process and have it ready for you. |

I've got a 92 z-28 vert, 5.0 TPI /5speed car with factory rear drum brakes. My car was one of the last 3rd gens built with a build date of 5/29/92....maybe they were using up what they had? I checked my SPID label, no G92... :( Also, while not pertinent to this 92 Z28, there was a WELL KNOWN shortage of the disc brake rears in 1991 G92 cars. I happened to own a G92 J41 1991 L98 Z28 that was stuck with the rear drums (J41) due to this shortage. Many members here have them. The car is currently owned by a TGO member and I can post the SPID for you (minus the VIN for the sake of the current owner). Nice car 92zcamaroperson, good luck!! |

ibuyvettes slightly misspoke or wasn't factoring 'verts due to the topic of this ad. Convertibles did not get the G92 package in those years, hence why you do not have a G92 car. My 1987 IROC is a rare(r) 5-speed LB9 G92 J65 VIN 3 'vert. Also, while not pertinent to this 92 Z28, there was a WELL KNOWN shortage of the disc brake rears in 1991 G92 cars. Re: FS 92 z28 camaro it is starting to show some spots on the hood and roof areas but i believe its more oxidation and just in need of a good waxing which it is going to get in the next couple days. |
