Re: Is this legit? I have a radio date stamped 1986 and it lights up green, it's one of the delco radios with am/fm, tape, and equalizer. I've never seen yellow, I know some 4th gens had yellow displays. |
Re: Is this legit? I seem to remember early Cavaliers having yellow displays. Not saying that's where the radio is from, just saying I remember seeing them. |
Re: Is this legit? That unit also looks really clean though, if it's been refurb'd at any point they may have just not put the right color lcd in it. |

Re: Is this legit? in 1985,display type and color depended on the radio model-AFAIK,up through 84 f-body were all yellow LED except rare pontiac red LED units.Some 1985 up radios came with blue VFD display with lower-end models using the yellow LED through~1986. The 1993 camaro radio is blue VFD with a red filter to appear yellow. |
