Going To A Carb
 
I PUT MY VORTECH HEADS ON LAST MONTH AND THE EDELBROCK PERFORMER CAM AND NOW IT WONT RUN GOOD SO IV BEEN TOLD THAT I NEED A CHIP SO I THINK ILL JUST GO TO A CARB INSTEAD THEN I WONT HAVE TO GET A NEW CHIP WITH EVERY MOD IM REALY NOT CONCEREN WITH GAS MILAGE I JUST WANT SOME POWER AND THE TBI WASNT DOING THATSO WHAT CARB AND INTAKE SHOULD I GO WITH? I WAS THINKING A HOLLEY 650 ON TOP OF A RPM AIRGAP INTAKE AND THEN PUTTING A BIGGER CAM IN LATER NEXT WINTER ALSO WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH THE IGNITION SYSTEM? THANKS ALOT

BY THE WAY I HAVE AN EBDELBROCK TBI INTAKE #3704
AND GM TBI INTAKE FOR VORTECH HEADS FOR SALE, IF ANY ONES INTERESTED LET ME KNOW

ask the carb board about carb stuff. Heres the tech article on the EFI to carb swap. I think you can leave the computer controlled igition but its up to you. It would make it easier to swap back if you wish.

$150 for the edelbrock and $250 for the gm vortech
