Need manifold identified

1 Attachment(s)
OK I got this intake manifold with a block i picked up today. both were free. I've identified the block but the numbers on the intake aren't coming up with anything. The numbers are 14007380. The closest thing i've found is this, gm #14007377

Any help would be appriciated. Also is it ok to soak it in a tub of engine degreaser, if so does it need to be diluted or can i use it straight from the jug?

I dunno....and not trying to be a dick but who cares man? It's a factory GM Q jet manifold...and an iron one at that. None of them are that different from any other and they all suck. No matter what it is the answer is: replace it with an aftermarket one anyway.

ok settles that then, I guess i will be using the edlebrock.

It's a mid-late 70s smogger one; part of the 175 HP package.

Even a Performer is better. Or an aluminum 305 one. ANything, almost. It's about the worst thing ever made that has a 4-hole flange.

Another Mystery Intake

I have a stock aluminium CCC q-jet duel plane intake #14101074.....I can't find any record of this at GM orany of my reference books. It also has a 1.250" hole in the divider!

any comments!!!

Some aftermarket intakes have the divider machined just under the carb for better high RPM breathing. Could this be a different approach? and ....yes it could be as a result of machining the EGR!

I'm gathering the numbers from my engine build for my records.

Hole = pass-through for the machine tool that drilled the EGR

Sounds like a stock aluminum CCC piece

What more is there to say? What would you like to hear about?
