Choke https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...9ab0c79cfd.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.thi...5b5bffdd39.jpgTrying to get this choke right and the piece that connects the choke to the flap fell off in the carb. How do i retrieve it and install it? In the top pic the piece that fell off connects to that rod. |
Re: Choke If it fell in the carb your best bet me be to remove the carb to retrieve the piece. I can get a pic of my intact choke tomorrow if you need a referance photo. |
Re: Choke That would be helpful.thanks |
Re: Choke You might get lucky using a magnet. |
Re: Choke 3 Attachment(s) Here's what my intact linkage looks like |
Re: Choke In the bottom pic, it is the rod that goes into to carb. The high idle cam goes through it in the carb, easy way to do this? I have noticed that the choke on this carb has barely any tension on it too. Any suggestions? thanks |
Re: Choke Post pictures, please. To attach the bottom of that rod, you have to do it blindly "by feel" down through that hole in the airhorn. Once you do it a few times, it's easy. The choke tension might be correct, because it is probably 80 degrees right now where you are. There will be more tension as it gets colder outside. Not much choke required right now. |
