Fuel line crossover

I have a basket case of 91 Camaro (originally an efi 305 car from VIN) that a previous owner threw a goodwrench 350 into. His fuel lines are sketchy. The original metal fuel lines still run up the driver side frame rail in the engine bay, but two rubber hoses and water clamps run under (and are sometimes rubbing against) the harmonic balancer. These hoses connect the original metal lines to the mechanical fuel pump on the passenger side of the block. What would be the best way to reroute this fuel line?

The regulator can be put on the drivers fender. Here’s a clean picture

In the carb cars originally, they crossed over in the trans tunnel, just behind the vertical portion of the firewall; then ran along the right side "frame".

A bit difficult to duplicate with the engine installed, but instructive I suppose.

I crossed mine over at the trans mount, then ran it up the passenger rail. I'll try and get a picture tomorrow.
