ostrich help ok i am borrowing a ostrich tuner from a friend and it is has the usb connector on it. I am also using tuner pro rt. Well i conenct it to my computer and the connect it to the cars odb1 connetor. All of this is done with the car turned off. Well when i turn the car ignition to the on position, my ses light flashes and i hear the fans kick on and when i click emulate on the software nothing happens it keeps saying no hardware found. i installed drivers from when it was connected to the internet but i was not sure if i have the right drivers. Anyways What am i doing wrong. All i am really wanting to do is see what my sensors are doing and see if anything is going wrong. any help will be appreciated much |
Re: ostrich help Does the Ostrich require com ports be aligned? Did you check Moates website as far as instructions for use? |

Re: ostrich help yes i have that aldl cable that goes from the odb1 port to the ostrich. I am just not sure whee the settings for the switches need to be on the ostrich. It has two switches. One switch has 3 settings and the other switch has only 2 setting. The one with 3 setting is vertical and moves up and down and the other switch is horizontal and moves left to right. If i have the switch that is vertical all the way down it flashes the ses light and i hear the fans come on. In any other positions it is just fine nothing happens |

Re: ostrich help it has two switches on the back of the unit. one switch is verticle and has 3 setting the other switch is horizontal and has 2 setting what are these switch supposed to be set at or maybe i could jsut call moates and talk to someone |
