Thanks for the help.

I am new to trying prom burning. I saved that file do I have to build the ecm file in tunerpro and save it or can I just resave the file to open as a xdf or ecm file.

I don't understand the question. Do you need a bin file too? It is normally recommended that you start with the stock bin for your vehicle. This is best if you read it directly from your vehicle's stock chip. If are not able to do that, look for the stock bin in the bin library at ftp.diy-efi.org

Im sorry if I wasn't clear. The ecm file I downloaded was a html document not an xdf so I was not able to load it into tunerpro as the ecm file. I tried resaving it as a .xdf and a .txt but was unsecessfull loading it. So I just need to know what I need to do with the ecm file. I have a stock bin from a 85 vette I am going to start with.

Click on the link in my first post. Find 1F.xdf. Right-click and choose "Save as". Save it as 1F.xdf.

Duh, I am a retart!
But I did figure it out before I read the post.

By the way would you or anybody happen to know if the prominator will work with the 870 ecm. I want in the group purchase.

Thanks again for the help.
